If the renter cancels the event after the agreement is signed for any reason, the initial deposit of $100.00 will not be returned. The breakage fee however will be returned.
The Fire Company requires that a “sponsor” that is a member of the fire company be present at any time that the renter(s) or anyone associated with the renter(s) is on the premises for either set-up or the actual rental itself. The sponsor is in charge of the rental and is responsible for anything that occurs during said rental. Any questions or problems are to be addressed by the sponsor.
Set-up for the event is to occur at a time to be determined between the renter and the Fire Company representative (sponsor) that will be sponsoring the event. The rental DOES NOT include access to the Fire Company Truck Garage or Downstairs Hall. If alcohol is served during the event, a Pennsylvania State Constable MUST be present for the duration of the event at an additional cost to be decided between the renter and the Constable, who is not affiliated with the Fire Company. At least one bartender MUST be a member of the Fire Company and the first bartender is included in the price of the hall rental. An additional bartender is available at an additional cost of $35.00, payable upon signing of this agreement. The bar will close at 12:00am and no loud music is to be played after this time.
It will be the responsibility of the renter(s) to clean all garbage from the hall, take all trash to the dumpster and fold all chairs and place them on tables after the event has ended. The Fire Company prefers that this be done on the same day as the rental unless another time is arranged between the Fire Company Sponsor and the renter. The Fire Company will be responsible for sweeping the floor and mopping the floor after the event has ended.
